Teen Challenge of Texas - San Antonio is dedicated to helping adult men and women to become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, spiritually alive, productive citizens who can transition to independent living within a 13-month or longer time span.

With over 40 years of caring experience, Teen Challenge - San Antonio is part of the largest and most successful faith-based program in the world.

Annually we serve more than 120 clients with substance abuse issues. We are located just minutes from downtown San Antonio. As a Bexar County service provider, the community benefits from our facility because of the quality of people we return to the community and workplace.

Teen Challenge will provide all clients with core recovery support programs including individualized recovery coaching, group recovery support, life skills, spiritual support, relapse prevention, transitional housing, GED, employment coaching, job training, and other services essential for achieving independent living. Extensive job training includes learning a new trade while working on one of our construction crews, or making cabinets in a nearby public factory, auto mechanics shop, electrician's course, or in our campus craft shop creating the finest wood art in the USA.

Teen Challenge - San Antonio serves as an employee training center which can send qualified workers to other Texas Teen Challenge centers as needed.

Teen Challenge will accept clients, ages 18 years old or older, usually within a 24-48 hour period.

Finally, there is success in the forecast for all at-risk men and women. Teen Challenge will turn you from a victim to a victor!
